About XavierSeek.com

XavierSeek.com started as a small project within Xavier Media™ in late 2001 to make our web sites searchable by our visitors. In 2004 our "first" live search engine was available for the public and it move to it's own domain XavierSeek.com.

At first we had our own spider crawling the web for new content, but in 2008 we started using the Yahoo! API instead for better results (especially for the web searches), but also for picture search and news search. At the same time we changed our search engine to use the Yahoo! API we also started using the Twitter Search API to make it easy for our visitors to search both a "normal" search engine and all the Tweets at Twitter.com.

More APIs will be used in the future and we will also add more funtions (hopefully not found in any other search engine).
